Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value the rights of intellectual property and expect the same respect for our rights. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can submit takedown notices to our designated DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
- Details of the infringing material and how to locate it.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement verifying the unauthorized use of the material.
- An assertion of accuracy and authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC outlines penalties for providing false information in infringement notifications. Takedown notices can be submitted through our Contact page via email for quick processing.
By submitting a claim, you acknowledge that your identity may be shared with the alleged infringer. Takedown notices are to be sent to our DMCA Agent for prompt attention.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright infringement claim, you can send a counter notification to have the material restored. Requirements for the counter notification are outlined in Section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA.
- Your signature.
- Description of the material taken down and its original location.
- Statement under penalty of perjury affirming good faith belief in the material’s removal due to mistake.
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for legal proceedings.
Counter notices should be sent through our Contact page with email as the preferred method of communication.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. To comply with DMCA requirements, we monitor and take action against any identified repeat infringers by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update the DMCA policy on this page as needed. It is advisable to regularly review this policy for any revisions.
